Mark Carney elected? Canada is cooked

If there is one country that can be relied upon to make even more foolish decisions than the UK its Canada. Electing Mark Carney over Pierre Poilievre is a vote for the status quo when Canada needs anything but.
I am not someone suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome but he totaled Poilievre's campaign and America will now have to live with the consequences of a belligerent, left wing globalist right on her doorstep. Maybe this was Trump's plan all along, who knows? he's either a complete genius playing 4D chess or an utter imbecile, but whichever it is he could have helped him out and saved the Canadians from themselves.
But at the end of the day they really only have themselves to blame. Just like Scotland they seem determined to rail against the larger country and do the opposite for seemingly no other reason than pure envy masquerading as moral superiority. And it always seems to put them under the thumb of a left wing, woke, toxic philanthropic, islam appeasing, climate activist.
This is another nail in the coffin for the parliamentary system and it's broken first past the post, two party monopoly that is showing itself unfit for purpose in this new world. Canada's national debt is a 95% of GDP, even higher than the failing UKs and astonishingly Canada has even less prospects.
How can a country this large, with this many resources and such capable people be in such a mess? Once again it is the poison of pygmy politicians serving up left wing, progressive, socialism to a brain washed, gullible electorate that has destroyed Canada just as soundly as it has destroyed Europe. Australia as usual is 5 years behind but well on its way.
Let's hope that there really is such a thing as American exceptionalism. We all need it it to show us the way out of this mess. But I have a feeling that even though the Americans have escaped this round of socialist elections, they still have a rabid progressive underbelly. The narrative they woven for themselves of an intergrationist superpower is making them complacent. They are not taking the growing threat of Islamism seriously enough. Whatever the other faults of Islamism (of which there are many) it is a wrecking ball for economic growth.
But back to Canada. The only good thing that can come out of this for the West is that Canada is writing the playbook in real-time on how not to run a Western society.
